2019 County Agricultural Development Program (CAIP)

The County Agricultural Investment Program (CAIP) is designed to provide farmers with incentives to allow them to improve and diversify their current production practices.  CAIP is a program of the KY Agricultural Development Fund (KADF) and is funded by the Tobacco Settlement Fund, part of the Master Settlement Agreement (MSA).

These funds will be distributed to farmers as a 50% cost-share incentive to approved applicants up to a maximum reimbursement of $4,000.

During these difficult times, due to COVID19, you may submit the reports and receipts by scanning them and emailing to, or mailing to:

The KADB does not allow for extensions or late filings, so reports and receipts must be received before 4:00 PM June 19, 2020 in order to receive reimbursement

Reports and Receipts needed are:
  1. Report Form
  2. Education Certification
  3. Receipts for item(s) Purchased
  4. Evidence of Payment (cancelled check) (no cash transactions)
  5. If Large Animal, the bull or heifer reports & BQA number 

This grant is for projects completed between Janaury 1, 2019 and June 19, 2020
